To be honest, I don’t have an exact number for this question because I should count them one by one and get some stings in return, but in general, there are between 20,000 and 30,000 bees in a hive (honeycomb) in winter and between 60,000 and 80,000 in summer. Bees decrease in winter because of the cold outside and the lack of flower to gather nectar to produce the honey they need for food.
