One of the first things that people usually notice when they go to an aquarium is that fish have eyes, mouth, but…where are their ears? Well, fish do not have ears in the common way that we usually think, that is, they do not open to the outside. However, inside their head, fish have an organ that can be considered as their “inner hears” which help them to perceive sounds under the water. Even though it is not as effective as other animal’s ears, it is very important, especially when other animals near them are bigger and very hungry!
